Twilight and Other Random Things

Have you ever noticed how distracting the blinking cursor is when you are trying to write something. I seem to just stare at it and I never stop. When looking at it you don’t think of idea, instead your mind is just blank. I am sitting at my desk write now doing nothing and having no clue what to write. I’m listening to music hoping that would make me think of something but it isn’t. So I somehow came to write about how I have nothing to write about, pathetic right? I could talk about how I got really good smelling shampoo and conditioner today, but thats not interesting. I never get any views on my blog either I have had almost five days straight without one view, thats right zero nada. All I can think of is how I am bored and nobody reads my blog. Why would they it’s extremely boring and pointless. So let’s think of a great topic… hmmm. Twilight. I haven’t read the book, but I heard it was awesome. Everyone who reads it seems to become addicted, so I’m a little scared. I will see the movie though because I would rather waste two hours of my time other then six reading the book. If I enjoy the movie I will read the book. What else can I talk about. I got nothing. Comment me and give me some ideas for my next post.

Sunday Plans

I haven’t written a post in a long time! My friend Hannah has just gotten a blog www.hannahhurley.wordpress.com and her post today was about her Sunday routine so I decided to post my plans. Today I woke up at 9:00 am and then just sat there and listened to my ipod for an hour. Then I made myself turkey bacon and egg whites which was very delicious. Now I have to make brownies for my grandmothers 83rd birthday party. I am really tired and I don’t want to do anything at the moment. We are having a roast and chicken. We had to make chicken because half of my family and I do not eat red meat, but the other half does. I really am not looking forward to this party because I am exhausted. I still have to do homework too. I have math and Spanish so it isn’t too bad. I also have to vacuum and dust my room which i really need to do. That is my exciting Sunday plans. Sounds fun doesn’t it!

Camping

I love to camp, and I love taking pictures. So camping and taking pictures has to be one of my favorite things. In this picture I was laying in a hammock, while taking pictures and almost falling asleep. Taking these pictures and seeing how beautiful they are just makes me happy. I have now decided that I may go into photography. I love to take pictures of great quality and see how professional they look. Now I believe that this is a very beautiful photo. The quality could have been better but I still love it. My friend Nick showed me how to put my photos onto my computer because I wasn’t really smart and couldn’t figure it out. So now Nick is my hero. I have actually been saying that everywhere. I think it is rather funny to tell you the truth. But anyway, I love photography. So yea comment on what you think of the picture.

Being a Vegan

My cousin has just recently become a vegan (well mostly, she has the occasional donut). She signed up for this 30 day vegetarianism thing, but she took it to the next level and became a vegan. She decided to do this after reading the book “Skinny Bitch” they talked about how milk is so bad for you. This would probably kill my friend heather if she new this, but anyway. They said that when getting milk they are pumping a cow full of antibiotics and tons of steroids so that they produce more milk then normal. Then the machines that they hook the cows to to get the milk makes sores on their utters. These sores create a puss and this puss goes into our milk. I know it’s really gross. They do though sterilize this puss, but still you’re drinking sterilized puss. Even if you are drinking organic milk it could not be good for you. Because if a cow is sick they can’t give it antibiotics to making better so you are just drinking a sick cows milk. It’s not healthy for you. Another thing about milk is that we are the only species to drink milk as adults. Babies drink milk to turn a small 7 pound thing into a 30 pound toddler. Why should we need milk as adults? There is no real purpose for it. All milk is doing to us is making us fat. You may drink low fat milk but it’s still FAT. I’m sorry to all you milk lovers but this needed to be said, you need to know what you’re really drinking. Comment on your opinion.

Thoreau 1

I was making myself a cup of Organic Chai Tea when I came across a quote. This quote was located on the paper part of my tea bag. It said “There is no remedy for love but to love more.”, Henry Daid Thoreau. I pondered about this quote while I was waiting for my tea to cool down. He is right. You need to love. Why would you want to not love? Love more. Seriously it really won’t kill you. But hate that can kill you, don’t make enemies, make friends. You get farther in life if you love and have people who love you. Friends, family, these are the people who make your life worth living. Trust these people and love them more because they are there for you. The ironic part is, I read this quote and then walked into my room and “I Want to Love You” by The Maine was playing. So from 1817-1862 while Henry David Thoreau was living he said some pretty great things. If there are more of these quotes on more of my Chai Tea tea bags then I will post them and tell you what I think. I would also like if you told me your opinions about these quotes.

Hurricane Hanna

Okay so there is a new hurricane or tropical storm or whatever and its name is Hanna… Now my friends name is Hannah (yea I know different spelling) well when ever we go anywhere with her it rains hard and it usually thunders and lightnings. So I think it’s very ironic that there is a storm named after her. So yea… if you know hannah you may think this is very ironic also… If you know Hannah then you then comment to tell me if you think this is as ironic as I do.

A New Love!

Okay Heather and I were watching LIVELAVALIVE and she is like in love with Mitchell Davis and I think Kyle rocks too. They are so funny we kept laughing hysterically when we were watching them. Especially during Q and A part 1. Not Again.

My uncle was just told that he has prostate cancer. This is the second person I know with in the last 5 years that has gotten prostate cancer. But at least it is something that is treatable. So yea. And my mom has to go in for surgery on tuesday to get a cyst removed. So yea I guess this is just a week that people get surgery and stuff. We can call it Medical Week. Yea that’s it. So thats all I wanted to post. Comment.

First Day of School

Ok I started school today and it wasn’t that bad. I didn’t get lost… well not that lost anyway. I knew people in most of my classes. My teaches look nice so thats a plus. But when there is a good there has to be a bad right? Well my bad has to be that I got blisters, and they hurt really bad. I only got them cause my shoes are weird and I didn’t wear socks with them when I was walking to school so thats when I got them so then like before I went into the school I put on socks and my feet still hurt but not as bad. And now another plus I don’t have really any homework. AND tomorrow I do not have gym instead I have Culinary Basics. So I guess I had a pretty good day. I’m Torn

I cannot figure out what band should be my favorite. I love The Maine and I also love Secondhand Serenade. Both bands are very original and have great lyrics. I saw The Maine in concert recently and they were awesome. I saw them with Boys Like Girls, Good Charlotte, and Metro Station. But out of them all I have to say I liked The Maine the best even though they were just the opening band. I don’t know how I heard about Secondhand Serenade I think I was on Facebook and was looking for a profile song and typed in something random and they came up. I really liked the song I found, it was Goodbye by the way, so I decided to look up more songs by them and thats when I really started to like their music. So I would like everyone to listen to both, you can just go on iTunes and listen to the 30 second thing or whatever, and then go back on this and comment to me what you like better and why. I’m trying to figure out what more people like and at the same time trying to spread each band’s music. So it’s a win-win. So go now and then come back and comment.
